Excellent location, minutes from the train station and the Duomo. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and responsive. An art exhibit is on the first floor. Breakfast is good. The owner has the nicest smile in Florence.
The shower in our room was European in that it did not have an enclosure but did have a shower curtain. So the water exceeds the area of the shower and wets the floor beyond the shower area.

Tbh, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for our family's Italian vacation. We greatly enjoyed this hip new hotel, no complaints. The breakfast was above average and excellent and included. Besides, the location was quiet and ideal for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Medici Chapel. And the area was very nice, just off Close to the main train station and public areas and the Duomo and other main attractions and shopping.

Rather small and very personal hotel, which is difficult to find in Florence, where as for me, too many tourist now. Very stylish decorated room with plenty of space there. Great breakfast.
Was difficult to find and to reach by car, though the garage service from garage nearby was pleasant though a bit expensive (27 euro). The cofee by breakfast was from a self-service mashine (which is below usual standard in Italy)

Location is excellent. Our room opened up to our own terrace area outside which was nice. Friendly staff.
No bath - just a shower wet room and this flooded our bedroom every time we used it. Hair dyryer fell to pieces. Funny onion smell in room. Breakfast was not replenished frequently and there was a poor choice. Did not feel like a 4* boutique hotel.

We liked the location of the hotel as was close to the centre of Florence & within easy walking distance of the train station. The design of the room was very nice & fancy. The breakfast was very good with great choice of food.
The bed parted company from one another each night as two single beds together but not secured particularly well. Wifi in the room & reception wasn't good. Air-con in room controlled via reception but not told on arrival of this operation.

The Art Atelier, Place Of Charme served as an excellent base for my business trip. Its location allowed me easy access to key business areas while offering a peaceful retreat in a quiet side street. The room was spacious and equipped with essential amenities, including a kettle and fridge, which supported my work needs. The attentive staff efficiently assisted with any queries I had.
WiFi connectivity was unreliable .

Our room was charming, just as I'd imagined and hoped for in Florence. An older, yet tastefully and professionally remodeled room, it still had all the modern conveniences, beautiful linens, and an outstanding breakfast was included in the price of our room. I adored the vaulted ceiling and obviously original (300 or 400 years old) handmade beam across the peak of the ceiling. Food was excellent, and the young lady who owns the hotel is charming and very helpful with navigating in the city, making reservations for us, recommendations, etc. The location was two blocks from the Duomo and the open air markets, in the heart of the older downtown. We'll definitely stay there again!
Some of the desk staff was spotty. One was friendly and helpful and two of the night desk people were downright dour and rude. There was also the question of a very unreliable "free wi-fi" and an obnoxious odor permeating the ground floor in the evenings occasionally.

Great choice for city trip. Perfect property, clean, very efficient service and exceptional value. Easy check-in, recently refurbished and well-appointed room with a stocked up fridge, a large bed, coffee/tea. Above average and great breakfast, lots of options available.

The heating control was rather unpredictable. It tended to fluctuate unexpectedly, leading to moments of discomfort. The shower needed some finesse-draining slowly and requiring constant adjustment to avoid a mini pool forming. There's an old-school vibe surrounding the furnishings, which could use a little modern touch for a more consistent boutique experience. Noise from neighboring rooms can disrupt your peace, especially in the evenings when voices travel too easily through thin walls.

Room was comfortable, clean and cool. We were only there for one night, so it's difficult to know much more.
There was a slight unpleasant odor in the room, perhaps remaining from the recent renovation.

Perfect location, 5 minute walk from SMN, somewhat more distant from the main attractions however. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and hospitable, no more, no less.
Toilet seat on the first night was loose, and some clean up issues with the washroom floor which I can chalk up to isolated incidents. What seems habitual, however, is general lack of attention to detail such as dusty floors, used tea cups that were simply turned over without double checking whether the cup was clean. Probably a 3.5 but with a 4 star price
